John Goodin kept a tune blog, So Many Tunes..., to record and share some of the tunes he wrote along with some context that inspired the tunes. Each entry presents a tune or two from John's notebook, often with a picture. Most of the entries include recordings of John performing the tune.

John generously licensed all of the tunes, recording, and text in this collection under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License to ensure that everyone could freely perform and otherwise enjoy his music.

The Classical Mandolin Society of America has taken a snapshot of the blog as it appeared at Blogger in late 2022.

Unfortunately, some of the pictures used in the original posts were provided by external sites and have been lost. Similarly, some of the linked references have gone stale, though CMSA members have corrected/updated some of them.
